Head of Strategic Partnerships

Job Summary:
The Scout Association is seeking an experienced professional to lead the development of our Strategic Funding efforts. As our Interim Head of Strategic Funding, you will play a critical role in shaping our fundraising strategy and securing significant gifts from trusts, foundations, high net worth individuals, and government funders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the delivery of the Strategic Funding component of our fundraising strategy, working closely with the Chief Fundraising Officer to refine strategy in response to market conditions and stakeholder needs.
- Cultivate a mixed pipeline of trusts, foundations, high net worth individuals, and government funders to secure five to seven figure gifts.
- Manage and motivate a team of four – two Trusts and Foundations Executives, one Strategic Funding Project Officer, and one Philanthropy Manager – fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
Requirements:
- Experience of representing and managing funders' expectations of funded projects.
