Job Title: Head of Strategic Partnerships

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Strategic Partnerships to lead our partner and alliance strategy. In this player-manager role, you will be at the helm of developing and executing plans to enhance our product capabilities and market reach through key integrated partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Craft and execute a comprehensive partner sales strategy aimed at surpassing revenue targets and expanding market share.
  • Team Empowerment: Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, setting clear performance expectations and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • End-to-End Sales Management: Oversee the entire sales cycle—from lead generation to deal closure—ensuring a seamless process that maximises efficiency and outcomes.
  • Client & Partner Advocacy: Build and nurture relationships with key industry decision-makers, acting as a trusted advisor who tailors solutions to meet specific business needs.
  • Market Insight: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor movements, and market conditions to provide strategic insights and identify new opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment and support for your sales initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years in partnership sales, including at least 3 years in a leadership role, ideally within the Payment Processing or B2B eCommerce sectors.
  • Proven Success: A strong track record of leading teams to achieve and exceed revenue targets, with significant experience in demand generation and sales operations.
  • Strategic Acumen: Ability to analyse data, identify market trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities with a passion for developing talent.
  • Communication Prowess: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Adaptability: Resilience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
