Job Title: Therapeutic Outreach Worker

Job Type: Fixed Term Contract

Hours: 28 hours per week (4 days per week, Monday-Thursday)

Location: Cheshire West and Chester

Salary: £18,404 pro rata salary (£23,005 FTE)

Job Summary

Polaris Children's Services is seeking a skilled Therapeutic Outreach Worker to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will work with children and families to provide support and guidance in a therapeutic setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to children and families
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to meet the needs of each child and family
  • Work closely with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to support
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews to monitor progress and adjust support plans as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g. social work, psychology, counseling)
  • Experience working with children and families in a therapeutic setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
