Therapeutic Outreach Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Therapeutic Outreach Worker to join our team at Polaris Children's Services. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work closely with children, young people, and their families to provide therapeutic support and guidance.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver therapeutic interventions and support to children and young people, focusing on building resilience and promoting positive change.
- Work collaboratively with professionals, parents, and foster carers to develop and implement effective support plans.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of group programs and workshops, promoting social skills and emotional well-being.
- Provide guidance and support to colleagues, promoting a culture of excellence and best practice.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Experience of working with children and young people, with a strong understanding of trauma, attachment, and child development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, children, and families.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- High level of organization, with excellent time management and administrative skills.
- Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel within the designated area.
