Therapeutic Outreach Specialist

Polaris Children's Services is seeking a skilled Therapeutic Outreach Worker to join our multi-disciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will work with children, young people, and their families to provide therapeutic support and guidance.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver therapeutic interventions to children and young people, working with them to build on their strengths and achieve positive change.
- Collaborate with professionals, parents, and foster carers to provide a comprehensive support network for children and young people.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of groups and workshops for children and adults, promoting positive outcomes and well-being.
- Work effectively as part of a team, providing support and guidance to colleagues as needed.
- Develop and maintain a sound knowledge of safeguarding procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people at all times.
- Experience of working with children and young people, with a background in social care, youth work, education, or a related field.
- Proven ability to work effectively with professionals, parents, and foster carers, building strong relationships and promoting positive outcomes.
- High level of organisation, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure, with a resilient and flexible approach to work.
- UK Full driving license and willingness to travel around the borough of Cheshire West and Chester, with mileage payable in line with our Expenses Policy.
