Job Title: Therapeutic Outreach Worker
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Therapeutic Outreach Worker to join our team at Polaris Children's Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic support to children and young people in our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and group therapeutic support to children and young people, using evidence-based approaches to promote emotional well-being and resilience.
- Work closely with families and carers to understand their needs and develop tailored support plans.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and mental health specialists, to ensure comprehensive support for our service users.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of therapeutic programs and activities, promoting positive outcomes for our service users.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications and experience in a therapeutic or social care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, young people, and their families.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of our service users.
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
