Children and Young People Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Practitioner to join our Children and Young People's Mental Health Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, community-based mental health services to children, young people, and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct mental health assessments and provide interventions to address the needs of the client group.
- Work with children and young people who present with a level of clinical risk, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
- Develop and implement care/treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide clinical supervision and support to colleagues as needed.
- Participate in inter-agency working and contribute to the development of services that meet the needs of children and young people.
- Core profession (Social Work, Nurse, Allied Health Professional) with professional registration.
- Nationally recognized post-qualification, continuous professional development (CPD) related to the core profession.
- Demonstrable working knowledge of specialist therapeutic approaches, including CBT and Family Therapy.
- Experience of inter-agency working, child protection, and related legislation.
- Significant post-qualification experience of working within a CYPMHS or Child Mental Health related field.
