Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in our EYFS setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young learners who require tailored support.

The successful candidate will provide individualized support to students, collaborate with teachers and SENCO to implement effective strategies, and foster a positive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.

A competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum is on offer for this role, commensurate with experience.

  • Experience working with children with ASD in an early years setting
  • Strong understanding of autism and ability to apply appropriate support strategies
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusting relationships with young learners and their families
