Support Specialist for Children with Autism

Are you passionate about making a difference in the life of a young student with Autism? Academics Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Primary School Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative school environment, providing tailored support to a Year 6 child with Autism throughout the school day.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with Autism or other Special Educational Needs, with strong communication skills and a patient approach to supporting children.
We are looking for someone who shares our passion for inclusive education and helping children reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Support the student during lessons, assisting with tasks, social interaction, and transitions between activities.
- Foster a nurturing environment that helps the student build confidence and achieve their potential.
- Monitor and track the student's progress, reporting observations to relevant staff members.
- Support the student's social interaction and integration with peers, facilitating meaningful relationships.
This role offers a competitive salary of £90.00 per day, plus opportunities for professional development and growth within our supportive team.
