Support Staff for Children with Autism

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs? NYKays Ltd is seeking a dedicated Support Staff for Children with Autism to join our team in a long-term position that may become permanent. As a Support Staff member, you will play a vital role in supporting children with ASD and SEN, providing day-to-day assistance to Teachers in teaching and learning, and collaborating with other staff members to maintain a safe environment.
Responsibilities for this role include:
- Developing and implementing individualized support plans.
- Participating in lesson planning and delivery.
- Supporting colleagues in personal care-related tasks.
In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £31,000 per annum, plus benefits.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 9 months' experience working as a Teaching Assistant with special needs children.
- Ability to think creatively to address children's challenges.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
All applications will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, and Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable).
