The Barts Cancer Institute at Queen Mary University of London is seeking a skilled Molecular Diagnostic Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our research group, you will develop novel methods for analyzing next-generation sequencing data to improve cancer diagnostics.

About the Role

This is a full-time appointment for 12 months, with an estimated annual salary of £28,000-£38,000 depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related field, and excellent programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB.

About Your Responsibilities

You will be responsible for developing and implementing new algorithms and statistical models to analyze large-scale genomic data, and interpreting results to inform clinical decisions. You will also contribute to the development of novel methods for analyzing next-generation sequencing data to improve cancer diagnostics.
