Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team as a Senior Account Manager in the medical sector. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional with a background in account management and capital equipment sales to join a leading manufacturer of molecular diagnostic systems.

About the Role

This is an account management role selling in-vitro diagnostics to the medical and laboratory sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key customer accounts, developing strong relationships with clients, and identifying new business opportunities to exceed area sales targets.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of existing customers, building relationships and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Identify new business opportunities through competitor analysis, product presentations, proposal development, and sales agreements.
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet or exceed area sales targets.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A proven track record in sales account management, preferably in the medical sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a basic salary of £55,000 and a performance-related bonus of up to £10,000 per annum. You will also have access to a company car, pension scheme, healthcare plan, life insurance, phone, laptop, and holidays.
