About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Health, Safety Specialist to join our team at AAK. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating hazards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health, safety, and environmental procedures
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in health, safety, and environmental management, with a proven track record of implementing effective safety programs. You will be a strategic thinker, able to analyze complex data and provide recommendations for improvement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be working closely with employees at all levels of the organization.
