About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join our team at Consult. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, health, and environmental well-being of our employees, customers, and the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and manage the Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) team to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and the achievement of business objectives.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to management and employees on safety, health, and environmental matters.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential hazards and risks.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
  • Monitor and report on safety, health, and environmental performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and other external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., environmental science, safety engineering, or a related field).
  • Professional certification in safety, health, or environmental management (e.g., NEBOSH diploma).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a safety, health, or environmental role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks.
