Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance and Safety Manager to join our team at Premier Technical Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving quality performance across all aspects of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and Implement Quality Improvements: Investigate all ways and methods to reduce internal and external rejects, and implement improvements to existing procedures.
  • Monitor and Analyze Quality Performance: Monitor and analyze quality figures, and provide recommendations to the management team to enable them to judge quality performance.
  • Ensure Compliance with Quality Standards: Ensure adherence to all company procedures, and maintain compliance with ISO 9000 standards.
  • Health and Safety Management: Ensure appropriate safety audit procedures are maintained, and introduce new audit regimes where required.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Act as the main point of contact with customers and suppliers to ensure any quality and H&S related issues are addressed.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have at least 4 years of previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing combined Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Management role. You will also need to be a skilled communicator at all levels, and have a flexible approach to supporting other areas of the business as required.

Demonstrable experience gained within a high-volume plastic injection moulding, plastic processing, or plastic packaging environment will be distinctly advantageous.
