Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and proactive QHSE Manager to join our established and professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving quality performance across all aspects of the business, as well as ensuring adherence to all company procedures and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Management:
- Investigate and implement methods to reduce internal and external rejects
- Monitor and analyze existing procedures to identify areas for improvement
- Provide monthly quality figures and recommendations to the management team
- Maintain cost of quality figures for display on notice boards
- Health and Safety Management:
- Ensure adherence to all company procedures and regulations
- Investigate and implement improvements to safety audit procedures
- Act as the main point of contact for quality and H&S related issues with customers and suppliers
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing combined Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Management role. They will be a skilled communicator at all levels, ensuring the workforce adheres to relevant company and industry-wide regulations.
Demonstrable experience gained within a high-volume plastic injection moulding, plastic processing or plastic packaging environment will be advantageous.
The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to supporting other areas of the business as required.
