We are seeking a skilled Health, Safety Specialist to join our team at AAK. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Developing and implementing effective health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
- Conducting regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement controls
- Providing training and guidance to employees on health, safety, and environmental procedures
- Investigating incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure health, safety, and environmental considerations are integrated into business decisions
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in health, safety, and environmental management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
