Therapy Intervention Opportunity

We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a skilled Child Therapist/Counsellor to join our team in Mansfield. As part of our Specialist Weight Management Service, you will work closely with children and young people to address their unique challenges and promote positive wellbeing outcomes.

This rewarding role requires a therapist who can adapt to diverse community settings and tailor interventions to individual needs. A strong understanding of cognitive behavioural therapy principles and behaviour change models is essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

About the Position

  • Provide systemic child therapy employing evidence-based methods.
  • Facilitate psychological assessments and formulation of client-specific plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective care delivery.
  • Maintain accurate case records and participate in peer supervision sessions.

Requirements and Benefits

  • Relevant professional qualification at degree level and registration with a professional body (such as AFT, BABCP, BPS, BACP, UKCP).
  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in child and young person therapeutic interventions.
  • Competitive salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
