About Us

Polaris Children's Services delivers innovative services that drive outcomes-based results, offering real value to children, young people, and families.

We provide intensive support in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, and Derby, helping children and young people transition from residential to fostering placements, stabilize existing fostering placements, reunify with their families, and divert from care.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children and families in home visiting roles or parenting programs.
  • Able to collaborate with professionals, including foster carers, social workers, and schools, to advocate for family needs and feelings.
  • Willingness to engage in learning and development to deliver an evidenced-based therapeutic program.
  • Must be based in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, or Derby to support community visits.
  • Fully qualified driver with access to a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver an evidenced therapeutic program to parents/carers in the community to ensure placement stability.
  • Listen and respond sensitively to children, young people, and their parents/carers to facilitate positive changes.
  • Maintain regular contact with the child or young person through face-to-face and telephone interactions.
  • Evaluate service delivery to promote equality, diversity, and rights for all individuals involved.
  • Implement services according to the Operating Manual.
  • Liaise with other professionals and agencies to achieve optimal outcomes for children, young people, and their families.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
