Child and Family Wellbeing Therapist

In this critical role, you will work directly with children and young people to develop coping strategies and improve their overall wellbeing. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with knowledge of cognitive behavioural therapy principles, are essential for success in this position.

About the Job

  • Deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions to children and young people.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Assess client needs and formulate effective care plans.
  • Prioritise workload and manage time efficiently to meet service demands.

Essential Requirements and Benefits

  • Relevant professional qualification at degree level and registration with a professional body (such as AFT, BABCP, BPS, BACP, UKCP).
  • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in child and young person therapeutic interventions.
  • Competitive salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
