Global Events Manager

As a seasoned Senior Virtual Event Manager at Emota, you will play a pivotal role in planning and delivering global projects for our esteemed clients.
About the Role

Our team of experts partners with clients to provide employee engagement, learning, and training solutions, scientific engagement, and capability building, all underpinned by applied behavioral science.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Virtual Event Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading projects from a client, internal team, and external partner perspective
- Maintaining the highest standards of event planning and delivery through the leadership of project executives
- Managing post-event metric reporting
- Coordinating client requirements with 3rd-party suppliers, promoting relationships
- Attending on-site at meetings and events held nationally and internationally
- Ensuring delivery of all events following regulatory and client-defined compliance guidelines
- Helping present event proposals to clients
- Managing the preparation of supportive meeting planning materials for client planning meetings
- Leading relevant aspects of client debrief post-event
- Acting as a subject matter expert for client accounts to guide and support colleagues across the account
- Leading the end-to-end event budget within company financial tools
- Managing the preparation and maintenance of budgets throughout the lifecycle of each event
- Ensuring financial tracking of each event and conducting regular 'health checks' to ensure positive cash flow
- Ensuring compliance with company and client invoicing and financial processes
- Ensuring time is logged for the project
- Ensuring spend is tracked and files are audit-ready from a compliance and financial perspective
- Submitting accurate final reconciliation of events within agreed timelines
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience (5+ years) of managing and delivering meetings and events in a corporate setting
- Experience managing event budgets from creation through to revisions and reconciliation
- Project management and resource skills
- A customer-centric approach to event delivery
- Proficiency in a range of event management software, project management tools, and Microsoft 365 suite (including Excel and the ability to maintain complex spreadsheets)
- The flexibility and desire to travel both nationally and internationally and manage busy event schedules on-site
- Experience working with Pharmaceutical/Healthcare clients is preferable
