**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a qualified and experienced individual for the role of Lead Suicide Prevention Adviser within our Papyrus UK Careers team. As a key member of our helpline service, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional service to those who need it most. In this position, you will provide expert guidance and support to a team of suicide prevention advisers, promoting best practices and quality assurance across the service.

You will be responsible for risk assessing and providing advice and guidance on safeguarding matters, in line with established policies and procedures. Additionally, you may be required to provide ad hoc rota cover to support a range of clients through multi-channel communications while adhering to HOPELINE247 remit. To excel in this role, you should have a strong background in suicide prevention or mental health, with expertise in risk assessment, guidance, and coaching. Your experience should also demonstrate your ability to work effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and build strong partnerships with stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of suicide prevention advisers
- Risk assess and provide advice and guidance on safeguarding matters
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve service goals and objectives
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to promote service growth and development

**Requirements:**
- Master's degree or equivalent in a related field
- Significant experience in suicide prevention or mental health
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
