Job Summary:
This part-time opportunity is ideal for individuals who want to make a positive impact in their community while working in an office-based role in Birmingham, UK. As a Helpline Support Worker, you will provide information, guidance, and referrals to service-users, supporting them on a range of issues.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include answering calls, emails, texts, and webchats, maintaining the helpline database, and promoting the service. You may also work on other MWNUK projects, services, and activities related to MWN Helpline issues. Basic DBS clearance is essential for this role.

Personal Specification:
We are looking for an individual with a keen interest in the charity sector, particularly BAMER and Muslim women's empowerment. The ideal candidate should have accurate listening and note-taking skills, as well as experience engaging with and dealing with problems faced by Muslim women and girls. A second language is desirable, with proficiency in Urdu, Arabic, Punjabi, Mirpuri, Pashto, Bengali, or Gujarati.

Requirements:
The salary for this role is £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a competitive salary, reflecting the importance of this role in providing vital support to Muslim women and girls.
