We are a family-owned care home group established for over 34 years, providing the highest standards of care to older people with a range of needs, including dementia, physical disabilities, and mental health issues. Our mission is to deliver outstanding care and support to our residents, and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Receptionist.

Key Responsibilities

  • As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for all visitors to the care home, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Ensure all visitors sign in and out, and maintain accurate records.
  • Answer all telephone calls and ensure that messages are delivered in a timely manner or calls are transferred to the relevant person.
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing post, and ensure the reception area is always kept neat and tidy.
  • Work closely with the Home Manager and Administrator to ensure the home is stocked with stationery and supplies.
  • Record and report on the home's daily and weekly updates as advised by the Home Manager.
  • Promote the home, conduct show arounds, and support with recruitment of new team members.

Requirements

  • A positive, can-do approach and excellent communication skills.
  • Good IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Attention to detail and previous experience in a customer-facing or reception role.
