Job Opportunity at Excelcare Holdings

We are seeking a highly organized and friendly Receptionist to join our team at Abbot Care Home in Harlow, Essex. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth experience for all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming and outgoing post, ensuring timely delivery and processing.
  • Answer telephone calls, take messages, and transfer calls to relevant staff members.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a professional environment for visitors.
  • Work closely with the Home Manager and Administrator to ensure the home is stocked with necessary stationery and supplies.
  • Record and report daily and weekly updates as advised by the Home Manager.
  • Promote the care home, conduct show arounds, and support with recruitment of new team members.

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and basic computer knowledge.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing or reception role.
