We are seeking a highly organized and friendly Receptionist to join our team at Abbot Care Home in Harlow, Essex. As the first point of contact for visitors, you will provide a warm welcome and ensure a smooth experience for all.

About the Role:

  • Ensure all visitors sign in and out.
  • Answer all telephone calls and deliver messages in a timely manner.
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing post.
  • Keep the reception area neat and tidy.
  • Work closely with the Home Manager and Administrator to ensure the home is stocked with stationery.
  • Record and report on daily and weekly updates as advised by the Home Manager.
  • Promote the home, conduct show arounds, and support with recruitment.

What We're Looking For:

  • A positive, can-do approach.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good IT skills – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing or reception role.
