Care Home Business Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Home Business Manager to join our team at Abbot Care Home in Harlow, Essex. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading the non-clinical aspects of the home, ensuring the smooth operation of each unit on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on all non-clinical aspects of the home, including managing individual team members' performance, monitoring training completion, and leading on the customer experience.
  • Work closely with the Home Manager, Clinical Team, and wider teams to develop and maintain a high-quality nursing and care service that meets registration, legislation, company policies, procedures, and quality measures.
  • Develop a cohesive team, including the domestic, laundry, and catering teams.
  • Facilitate and participate in non-clinical meetings and other professional meetings.
  • Support with safeguarding investigations, reports, and outcomes, and liaise with all stakeholders as required in line with Policies and Procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous Team Leader, Senior Carer, or Deputy Manager experience within a care home setting.
  • Qualification equivalent to Level 5 or Level 3 with proven experience.
