About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Duty Manager to join our team at McCarthy Stone, a leading provider of luxury retirement living. As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our development, Bowes Lyon Court, and providing exceptional customer service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the security and safety of the development, ensuring the well-being of our residents.
  • Oversee the Care and Support teams, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Coordinate and facilitate activities that promote community spirit and resident engagement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, their families, and external partners.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support our residents' needs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a care or support environment, with a strong understanding of customer service principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring resident satisfaction.
