Job Overview

As a Medical Records Coordinator within the Planned and Surgical Care Directorate at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust, you will play a vital role in delivering an efficient medical records service.

About the Role

This position is responsible for ensuring that medical records are accurately stored, retrieved, and managed, guaranteeing they contain all necessary documents.

You will be working closely with teams across the trust to provide high-quality support for our patients. Your efficiency, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills will enable you to meet deadlines while maintaining a positive approach.

Responsibilities
  • Manage storage, retrieval, and management of patient health records.
  • Input data and manage appointments on the electronic patient administration system.
  • Making, changing, or cancelling appointments via phone according to trust policies.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • GCSE or equivalent Maths and English grade D or above, or NVQ Level 2 or above in Business Administration.
  • Previous experience as part of a team.
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is around £23,500 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience.
