Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Records Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient storage, retrieval, and management of patient health records.

Main Responsibilities

  • Inputting data and managing appointments on the electronic patient administration system.
  • Making, changing, or canceling appointments on the phone in line with Trust policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring that medical records are in the right place at the right time for patients to be treated and then returned to the correct storage location.

Person Specification

Essential

  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English grade D or above or NVQ Level 2 or above in Business Administration.
  • Previous experience of working as a team.

Desirable

  • Trained in iCS, eRS, CRIS, and SystmOne.
  • Previous experience of working in a Medical Records Department.
  • Previous experience of working within the NHS.
