Medical Records Administrator

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality medical records services across the Planned and Surgical Care Directorate. As a Medical Records Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring that patient records are accurately stored, retrieved, and managed, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to strict data protection guidelines.
We are committed to providing excellent patient care, and this role is essential in supporting our teams in delivering safe and effective care. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The salary for this role is approximately £22,000-£25,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include 27 days holiday, plus bank holidays, as well as opportunities for professional development and career progression within the Trust.
About the Role
This position requires a proactive individual with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, while working collaboratively as part of a close-knit team. You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the accurate storage, retrieval, and management of patient health records.
- Inputting data and managing appointments on the electronic patient administration system.
- Making, changing, or cancelling appointments on the phone, in line with Trust policies and procedures.

Applicants should hold GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English, grade D or above, or NVQ Level 2 or above in Business Administration.
