About the Role

This is a permanent contract position with a salary of £12.54 per hour. As a Mail Delivery Specialist, you will work 40 hours per week, with shift times between 08:00 and 10:00. You may be required to work one in four Sundays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver mail and packages to customers in a safe and efficient manner
  • Operate a vehicle to transport mail and packages
  • Collect and sort mail and packages
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet delivery targets
  • Provide excellent customer service to customers

Requirements

  • A full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • A strong sense of community and takes pride in what you do
  • Happily walks for long periods and works outside in any weather
  • Think of yourself as a people-person and a friendly face in the community
  • Organized, punctual, and ready to deliver great customer service

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of £25,988 per annum (based on 40 hours per week)
  • Overtime paid at 1.25 x the normal hourly rate
  • 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (pro-rata)
  • Full uniform provided
