Our Wallingford based client are currently recruiting for an energetic and enthusiastic Events Manager to join their current team.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers.
- Building relationships and advise on best practices and solutions.
- Project Management of event requirements
- Working with Account Managers and Logistics to ensure events are delivered effectively end to end.
- Attending meetings internally and externally
- Working with databases, importing data and understanding GDPR requirements
- Liaising between departments internally and adhering to processes
- Coordinating web registration form requirements between customer and in-house development team
- Managing and coordinating badge printing and mail fulfilment
- Providing statistics and setting up reports
- Liaising with suppliers to fulfil event consumables.
- Complete handover notes for onsite managers
- Booking temporary staff for events
- Booking couriers, flights and hotels

**JOB QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Great interpersonal skills and telephone manner
- A good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Database experience advantageous
- Ability to multi-task within prescribed time frames whilst working in a fast-paced environment.
- Accurate, with high attention to detail
- Excellent, effective and clear written and oral communication skills with customers, partners and colleagues
- Good team player, able to build and maintain exceptional professional interdepartmental relationships, willing to take personal responsibility for resolution of issues.
- Ability to adjust and respond professionally to changing priorities.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- A passion for success and always striving for excellence in service delivery.
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and keen to learn and share knowledge.
