About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Officer to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As an HR Officer, you will be the first point of contact for management and employees, providing advice and support on employee relations, HR administration, and payroll.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support to management on employee relations, including disciplinaries, grievances, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law, statutory rules, and company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate occupational health appointments and manage sickness absence.
  • Support the HR Manager with the mid-year and end of year performance review process.
  • Provide Mental Health First Aid support to the business.
Requirements
  • Educated to Degree level (or equivalent).
  • Associate/Graduate Member of CIPD.
  • HR generalist background, with experience in recruitment and HR/payroll administration.
  • Awareness of current employment law and ACAS Codes of Practice.
  • Advanced competence level with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Planning, organisation, and time management skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail; high standard of grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

Hybrid Working
