About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Advisor to support our client in Rochester, a leading FMCG company. As a key member of the Operations Team, you will play a crucial role in driving the implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive Health, Safety and Environmental program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safety, health, and environmental improvement activities, providing expert advice and coaching to employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety legislation, regulatory requirements, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Health, Safety and Environment Manager to develop and implement effective safety protocols.
  • Conduct workplace audits and inspections, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to employees, focusing on safety awareness and compliance.
  • Review and update management system procedures to ensure alignment with ISO standards.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing/FMCG environment.
  • Relevant degree qualification or equivalent.
  • IOSH qualification.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a demanding fast-paced working environment.
