Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Operations Manager to join our team at Henderson Group. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for leading the store team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive business results.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced retail professional to take on a leadership role in one of our stores. You will work closely with the Assistant Manager and/or Store Manager to implement store policies, standards, and practices, and provide guidance and support to the store team.

You will also be responsible for training and developing your team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of the store plan and priorities, and work collaboratively with the store team to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the store team to deliver excellent customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for customers
  • Implement store policies, standards, and practices, and provide guidance and support to the store team
  • Train and develop team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles
  • Contribute to the development of the store plan and priorities, and work collaboratively with the store team to achieve business objectives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 6 months' experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a retail environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen, interact, and communicate effectively with customers and team members
  • Target-driven and focused on continuous improvement, with a passion for delivering results
  • Ability to inspire and motivate others to do their best for each other and the customer
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a market-competitive hourly rate of £13.69 per hour, plus benefits such as fuel and grocery discounts. Our stores are open from Monday to Sunday, 6am-midnight, with expected opening, closing, and weekend shifts.
