As Customer Experience Director, you will be responsible for creating a positive shopping experience for customers at Tesco. You will lead a team of colleagues to ensure that customers receive exceptional service and that store policies are followed. Your duties will include coordinating the store team to deliver an easy, fuss-free shopping experience for customers, supporting your colleagues to ensure they deliver daily priorities, and taking regular breaks. You will also be responsible for opening and closing the store, completing duty cover, and being the go-to person for colleagues in the absence of a manager for day-to-day queries. Additionally, you will maintain a great understanding of how your store is performing, and assist managers in delivering any actions that help improve the running of the store. As a leader, you will need to motivate and inspire a team to deliver beyond expectations. If you are a great communicator, have strong problem-solving abilities, and a flexible approach to work, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you. You will be working in a fast-paced retail environment with bags of variety, so you will need to be comfortable with change and adaptable to different situations. We offer a competitive salary starting at £14.28 per hour, increasing to £15.41 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location and skills.
