Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales and Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team in Luton. As a key player in driving sales growth, you will be responsible for developing strategic marketing and promotional efforts, focusing on key accounts for long-term success.
The business you will be joining is a leading manufacturer and distributor of electrical and lighting products within a global group of companies. With a well-established reputation and a strong presence in the UK electrical wholesale and contractor market, this is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to meet business objectives and sales forecasts within the trade channel.
- Develop and execute promotional campaigns to maximise opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer accounts to drive mutually beneficial growth.
- Accurately forecast and plan sales activity, reporting on key performance indicators to monitor progress and meet targets.
Rewards:
- A starting salary of £40,000 per annum.

Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience within an external sales role with responsibility for wholesale and contractor accounts.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Self-motivation and a proactive attitude.
- The ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and prioritise tasks effectively.
- A full UK driving licence.
