**Primary role purpose**
The primary role purpose of the business lecturer is to educate and train ABA students in various aspects of business management.
The business lecturer is responsible for designing and delivering lectures, seminars, and workshops that provide ABA students with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the business world.
Overall, the primary goal of a business lecturer is to prepare ABA students with the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed in the complex and ever-changing business world.
**Key duties**
- Deliver lectures and facilitate discussions in the areas of business management.
- Develop and revise course materials and lesson plans.
- Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
- Participate in curriculum development and assessment.
- Attend departmental and faculty meetings.
- Provide academic support and guidance to students, including advising on academic and career goals, and assisting with academic performance issues.
**Highly desirable**
- Industry Experience: Having experience working in the business industry can help you bring real-world examples and practical insights to your lectures.
- Effective communication skills.
- A passion for teaching and a desire to inspire and mentor students are highly desirable.
- A drive to motivate and inspire students to achieve their goals.
**Essential for the role**
- A minimum of a master's degree in business, management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Teaching qualification.
- At least two to three years of teaching experience at a college or university level.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Demonstrated knowledge of business management.
- Ability to meet deadlines, trouble shoot and look at innovative means to problem solve.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently & as part of a team.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal).
- Strong attention to detail.
