Mental Health Practitioner Role

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Weymouth and Portland Community Mental Health Team as a Mental Health Practitioner.

This is a Full-Time permanent position, requiring a valid driving licence and use of a car to review and monitor patients in their own homes and within community settings.

As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will act as a Care Coordinator for a caseload of patients suffering from Serious Mental Illness, providing person-centred, evidence-based interventions to aid recovery.

The team works collaboratively, with opportunities to develop skills in therapeutic interventions and psychological therapies.

You will work closely with an Integrated Multi-Disciplinary Team, comprising Consultant Psychiatrists, Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, and other professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted interventions to aid patient recovery
  • Act as a Care Coordinator for a caseload of patients
  • Collaborate with the Integrated Multi-Disciplinary Team

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is £43,041 - £58,217 per annum, depending on experience. This equates to approximately £20.71 - £28.19 per hour.
