The estimated salary for this role is between £40,000 and £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Team

We are a dynamic and forward-looking team at Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust, committed to delivering outstanding healthcare services to our patients. As a Care Leader, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that works together to achieve excellent patient outcomes.

Your role will involve providing clinical and operational advice, leadership, and support to ensure the needs of the service are met. You will also contribute to the planning and design of services in line with Trust, locality, and government objectives to meet the needs of local people.

This role requires strong clinical judgement, critical analysis, and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to work proactively and effectively with Primary Care and VCSE Sector.

Main Tasks
  • Lead and manage a team of Specialist Mental Health Practitioners and Physical Health Support Workers.
  • Provide clinical and operational advice, leadership, and support to ensure the needs of the service are met.
  • Contribute to the planning and design of services in line with Trust, locality, and government objectives to meet the needs of local people.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Registered Practitioner qualification.
  • Experience of working in a Band 6 role or equivalent clinical experience.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a community mental health setting.
  • Evidence of ability to work proactively and effectively with Primary Care and VCSE Sector.
