Job Title: HR Advisor

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our client, a well-established manufacturing company. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire disciplinary process from start to finish, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Disciplinary Management: Lead the end-to-end management of disciplinary processes, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Employee Relations: Provide advice and support to line managers and employees on HR issues, focusing on resolving employee relations matters in a fair and timely manner.
  • HR Support: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring best practices are followed across the business.
  • Advice & Guidance: Offer professional advice on employment law, company policies, and HR procedures, ensuring that management decisions align with legal obligations and company standards.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records and documentation for all HR matters, particularly related to disciplinary actions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the wider HR team and other departments to support the overall HR strategy, including performance management, employee development, and engagement initiatives.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • CIPD Qualified: Must have CIPD Level 5 or above.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar HR Advisor role, with significant exposure to managing disciplinaries from start to finish.
  • Manufacturing Environment: Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is highly desirable.
  • Employment Law Knowledge: Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices, particularly around employee relations and disciplinary procedures.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and advise stakeholders at all levels.
  • Organised & Detail-Oriented: Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and maintain accurate records.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
