HR Generalist

Position Overview
DP World is seeking a dedicated HR Generalist to join our dynamic HR team in the UK North & Ireland region. This role is ideal for an HR professional who is enthusiastic about contributing to the organization’s success and advancing their career within a global company. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will play a vital role in implementing HR strategies and initiatives across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the HR team in executing HR programs and initiatives that align with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Assist in the recruitment process, including job evaluations, offer letters, and onboarding procedures.
- Serve as the primary contact for HR inquiries from employees, offering guidance on policies and procedures.
- Manage employee relations by advising management on performance issues, attendance, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
- Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientation for new hires and conducting exit interviews.
- Collaborate with the HR team to design and deliver training sessions on various HR topics.
- Support performance management activities, including setting objectives, conducting evaluations, and creating development plans.
- Coach managers on leadership practices and cultural transformation to achieve business goals.
- Promote employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Provide HR management reports and analysis for the respective sites and handle associated administrative tasks.
- Participate in HR projects that benefit the wider organization as needed.
Qualifications
- CIPD qualification or equivalent HR experience.
- Experience as an HR Generalist or in an advisory capacity within a fast-paced HR environment.
- Strong understanding of HR practices and UK employment legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Organized with strong time management and attention to detail.
- Capable of handling sensitive information with confidentiality.
