Our client is recognized for producing top-tier products in their sector. In light of recent business growth and acquisitions, they are seeking to appoint a new HR Generalist to assist the HR Manager in managing the daily operations of a bustling workforce exceeding 500 employees.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the HR Manager in addressing employee relations matters, which includes organizing and facilitating investigation meetings, absence reviews, and other pertinent HR concerns.

  • Oversee employee relations cases concerning attendance and performance management.
  • Manage the recruitment process for the facility, ensuring timely fulfillment of staffing needs in collaboration with line managers and recruitment agencies, supported by an HR/Recruitment administrator.
  • Conduct the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Handle various aspects of HR administration.
  • Coordinate necessary training programs for the workforce.
  • Compile and report on HR metrics.
  • Participate in significant projects aligned with the People Strategy.

This role is a full-time, permanent position based on-site, requiring 40 hours of work per week, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility in working hours.

We are looking for HR professionals who possess a CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent, with experience in manufacturing or similar high-volume environments.

The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of UK employment legislation and be adept at managing employee relations cases, executing recruitment initiatives, coaching managers, and demonstrating strong business insight regarding the influence of HR on achieving broader organizational objectives.

As an individual, you will exhibit resilience, possess the ability to manage a diverse and demanding workload, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, understanding the complexities of working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
