Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered General Nurse to join our team as a Primary Care Team Leader. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to take on a leadership role in our dynamic and fast-paced primary care team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist in the overall delivery of care to patients within the Primary Care Department.
  • Assess care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate pathways of care.
  • Lead and develop a team of healthcare staff and visiting professionals.
  • Work towards providing the highest standard of care for the prison population.
  • Ensure consistent and effective nursing practice and operational activity.

Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse (Adult) with current NMC registration.
  • Professional knowledge to degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Significant demonstrable post-registration experience.
  • Evidence of working with service users who demonstrate a range of complex needs.

  • Able to demonstrate effective operational management skills.
  • Ability to clinically supervise nursing colleagues.
