Mental Health Ward Manager Opportunity

About the Role:
Gilbert Meher Ltd is seeking an experienced and compassionate Ward Manager to join their team in a mental health inpatient rehabilitation hospital. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for leading, supporting, and managing a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to adults aged 18-65.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care and outcomes.
- Collaborate with service users, their families, and other stakeholders to provide a supportive and engaging environment.
- Drive positive outcomes for service users while maintaining a high-quality care environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals and external partners to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.
- Previous experience in mental health nursing is strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing healthcare teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain composed under pressure and approach challenges with empathy.
