About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Compass. As a key member of our Early Intervention Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Service, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver 1:1 therapeutic mental health interventions with children and young people
  • Conduct mental health assessments and make risk assessments
  • Work with families and other agencies to provide support and guidance
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the needs of children and young people
  • Collaborate with educational settings to increase mental health awareness and provide support
Requirements
  • Qualified Mental Health Practitioner with experience of working with children and young people
  • Knowledge of CBT and clinical supervision
  • Ability to work within educational settings and with families
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full driving license and access to own transport
