About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Compass. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based early interventions for children and young people, working across both educational settings and the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver 1:1 therapeutic mental health interventions with children and young people
  • Conduct mental health assessments and make assessments of risk
  • Work within educational settings to increase mental health awareness among staff
  • Collaborate with other agencies and stakeholders to provide comprehensive support
Requirements
  • Qualified Mental Health Practitioner with experience of working with children and young people
  • Knowledge of educational environments and safeguarding issues
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
