Job Title: SEND Teacher

Horizon Care and Education is a leading provider of specialist education and care services. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEND teacher to join our team at Bushbury School in Wolverhampton.

As a SEND teacher at Horizon Care and Education, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualised education plans for students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Speech, Language, and Communication Needs (SLCN). You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure that each student receives the highest quality education and care.

We offer a competitive salary of £32,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including the Real Living Wage, Christmas bonus, Blue Light Card, and colleague referral scheme. Our comprehensive induction programme includes face-to-face training, online modules, shadowing, and local induction period.

The ideal candidate will have a QTS or QTLS qualification, up-to-date safeguarding and child protection qualifications/knowledge, and experience of working with students with ASC and SLCN. You will also have the energy, passion, and drive to raise standards, excellent planning and organisational skills, and knowledge of developments in education.
