West Midlands Combined Authority, United Kingdom Compass Associates Full time

Compass Associates is proud to partner with a leading provider of children's specialist services, offering an exciting opportunity for a Clinical, Forensic, Counselling or Educational Psychologist to join their Children's Clinical Team.

The role involves working in a hybrid environment, dividing your week between working from home and visiting children's residential homes within your geographical area. These homes provide specialist care and support for children and young people who have backgrounds of complex trauma, learning disabilities, autism spectrum conditions, and challenging behaviours.

Your clinical responsibilities will include carrying out assessments and consultations, formulating therapeutic plans, and delivering direct trauma-informed work with the children and young people. You will also deliver training and provide advice to residential staff on how best to support children in their care.

This is a senior role that requires a doctorate-level degree in Clinical, Counselling, Forensic or Educational Psychology, full HCPC registration without conditions, and a UK driving licence with access to own car. Experience working with children and young people in CAMHS, residential or specialist education settings is essential.

The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of residential care, trauma-informed practice, and multidisciplinary working. A clear and enhanced DBS is required.

This is a two-stage interview process, including an informal conversation with the Associate Clinical Director, followed by a formal interview via Teams.

In this rewarding role, you will enjoy a salary of up to 63,000 per annum, reflecting the demands and expectations of the position.
